Common questions
What surfaces do you paint inside?
Walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets, stair rails, built-ins. Drywall, plaster, wood, and previously-painted metal. Unusual surfaces — confirm at the walkthrough.
Do you do exterior painting on residential properties?
Yes — siding, fascia, trim, porches, fences, doors. Exterior work is scheduled around DC weather windows so paint cures correctly.
What does prep look like?
Every job: clean, scrape loose paint, sand, patch nail holes and cracks, caulk gaps, prime bare spots. Lead-safe practices on pre-1978 homes.
Can you help with color selection?
Yes. Sample boards or test patches before any full coat. We can pull from any major paint manufacturer’s palette.
How long does a painting project take?
Single room: 1–2 days. Full interior: 4–10 days depending on size and prep. Exteriors: 3–7 days, weather permitting. Date range goes in the written scope.
